She won for: Song Of The Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Female R&B Vocal Performance, Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Best Contemporary R&B Album.
Long overdue, and definitely necessary to remind the women that Jay-Z is her husband. Nervous or not, Beyonce shocked Jay-Z back into reality with her ”I want to thank my family, including my husband and I love you” statement during her Grammy Award acceptance speech. She is his wife and a little reminder does help to keep the facts in check.
