This is the first publicized personal relationship for the  previously bruised and battered pop star Rihanna 21, being courted by another man, since her domestic violence situation with singer Chris Brown.  Here Rihanna is seen with Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp 25.  His PR people made it clear that these two young people are not dating, but just friends. 

So after 1 week of meeting, greeting and accepting vacation invitations, Rihanna appeared in Mexico aboard a luxury yacht, in a black bikini acting a little tense with  Matt Kemp’s hands-on attention.   Matt obviously was more concerned with keeping the paparazzi entertained by grabbing Rihanna’s butt and flaunting his macho body.  This is a man when asked by Yahoo! Sport about his ideal woman responded:  ” Independent, pretty and got to have good teeth too.  Somebody who can go off and do their own thing and not have to worry about me all the time “. 

Hopefully this is not a case of Rihanna being chosen as a reward trophy for Matt Kemp’s 2009 victory of  being the first player in Dodger history to hit at least .295, with 25 home runs, 100 RBIs, and 30 steals in one season.  He was selected to receive both the Gold Glove Award and the Silver Slugger Award.
