She is promoting visual violence in her new video ” Russian Roulette “ for young fans who have not fully gotten a grasp on life, and can easily be pushed off the deep edge, and then she is speaking out in her first exclusive interview about her domestic violence to help young fans and women in the same situation.
Yes, Rihanna was beaten by Chris Brown, but what could anger a love song singer like Chris Brown to the point of causing physical abuse to a woman he loves. Who is really the victim here? These two people relied on each other for moral support, mental escape from the financial business and contract signing decisions, betrayal by so-called friends and people in authority, and an opportunity to play together and remain young at heart. With their trusted security of intimacy; Chris and Rihanna were thrown worlds apart from each other with a restraining order issued for 5 years ordered by a court judge.
Chris Brown has made several attempts to explain his actions and show his remorse publicly, and on CNN “ Larry King Live “ , he tried very hard not to reveal what the fight was about between Rihanna and him, and he has been heard saying that her privacy is important to him. After 9 months of silence and running around the world to the point where Jay-Z dispatched a body-guard to keep an eye on her, including much talk about Rihanna being connected to a Freemason group, along with her superstar peers, Rihanna appeared on ABC ”20/20″ to explain her side of the domestic violence story in detail to Diane Sawyer, yet making it known that she does not hate Chris and she does not know what will happen between them down the line.
Domestic violence is a very serious matter and most women commend Rihanna for her bravery in telling her story to help others presently in the same situation. On the other hand, the interview seemed coached, controlled and rehearsed. The impression received was more like “ I am saying this because my record label made me, but I really want to be with Chris.” Rihanna said, “ Chris should take this confession like a man and grow up” which sounded more like, do not re-act to this confession by telling the truth. “ F*** love! ” was a powerful statement made by Rihanna during her interview, who is still very deeply hurt, confused and disappointed. This hurt goes way back before and during her relationship with Chris Brown.
Chris is also hurting from his past domestic violence experiences, and must now feel like he has woken up from a nightmare that just will not go away. Surprisingly, embarrassing STD life altering accusations on what might have triggered Chris Brown’s brutal attack, surfaced on Youtube and the rest of the internet shortly after the Rihanna and Chris Brown physical abuse incidence. Due to a beef between Rihanna and Tila Tequila, Tila has posted on her blog the STD facts of Rihanna having herpes, which can also create Rihanna’s now possible downward spiral and don’t care attitude. Where does this beautiful and trusting young woman go from here. Who gets the blame? The actions of Chris Brown and Rihanna does give the fans a lot to think about.
Rihanna’s actions has always let the world know, you may own her on paper for now, but you will never own her mind. She is her own woman and has done pretty much as she pleased. She never promised to become anyones role model, and where were her guardians when she first arrived young and innocent on the scene. What can you not yet understand about Rihanna?
