Nene Leakes is the housewife on “ The Real Housewives of Atlanta “ reality show who captured the hearts of many viewers on Season 1 with her domestic violence story, her “ Twisted Hearts Charity Foundation “ , and her sincere keeping it real personality. Suddenly on season 2 of “ The Real Housewives of Atlanta “ reality show Nene Leakes is seen giving us an earful and eyeful of who she really is. Nene turned plain and simple ugly! Does this have anything to do with her off camera financial difficulties, losing her home, and around town scandalous past stripper rumours?
Nene believes she is playing up to the camera by getting loud, head rocking, finger-pointing and displaying a cowardly in your face bully attitude with the other women on the reality show. What it all boils down to is, what we have seen on “ The Real Housewives of Atlanta “ reality show, is the real Nene Leakes in person. Nene has made it her duty to show her viewers what jealousy looks like in it’s rawest state of mind. Her actions and verbal venom about Kim Zolciak were despicable. All Kim wanted was to be Nene’s friend, but Nene just could not see it, she made fun of Kim attempting to become a singer, by singing a negative song about Kim, then she trapped Kim in a hair pulling hear say controversy with Sheree Whitfield.
Kim was still trying to be a friend to Nene when she invited Nene to her wig party at her home and Nene again made fun of Kim in front of all the guest at the party. As far as Nene was concerned Kim Zolciak did not have any business sense to actually create a wig line. Then there was Kim’s “ Tardy For The Party “ song that Nene realized she was not going to be featuring on, due to Kim’s personal decision to exclude her, due to all the negative remarks Nene had already made about Kim’s singing ability.
Nene turned on Kandi Burruss when she realized she was not going to be included on the “ Tardy For The Party “ song, and Kandi was showing more interest in helping Kim to overcome her fear of singing. Nene let Kim know that she was fine with her decision to do the song by herself, but it would not sell without her being on the song. Later on a scuffle between Nene and Kim erupted over the song, and Nene said it was over Kim saying her husband Greg was broke.
The friendship between the women as portrayed on “ The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion 2 “ seemed strained, distant and false. With Nene’s ongoing financial stress and her determination to impress her viewer’s, and her jealous tirade toward Kim Zolciak and Kandi Burruss: Nene blew out her own fuse and lost an opportunity to gain financially with “ Tardy For The Party “ and she has lost a possible partnership in Kim’s “ Kezzy Locks “ wig line. She embarrassed herself on the reality show with her behavior and jealous ranting, which she now refers to as acting.
Nene’s unhappiness, desperation and greed is what caused her to blindly lose what she already had in her hand. This is a tough lesson for Nene Leakes and an initial step at growing up. I agree. NeNe is a monkey with a wig on, not kim. kim needs to severe all ties with that big crazy b. i didn’t know greg met nene when she was a stripper. she needs her big ass kicked. she is a big mouth bully and no good is going to come to her until she changes her behavior. cant wait til next season
And I do believe that after NeNe gets past all this paternity junk, financial junk and worrying about her oldest son, she’ll turn back into the NeNe we knew from first season. The one who only trashes Kim. Actually she focused on Kim and Sheree first season and now its Kim and Kandy. She hasn’t changed. She’s just jealous minded. And she already knew what type of person Kim was because she used to sit around with Kim and trash everyone she thought of. Now Kim is trashing her. What is the moral of that story… “I told you I was a snake.”
I am so glad I found your blog. I am addicted already. You hit the nail on the head over and over again on this one. NeNe decided to out herself at the alter ego shoot because she knew she was running out of time before the rest of the USA found out. But Greg is probably having financial difficulty now because he is a real estate investor and the market is really bad right now. I hope all goes well for him though. He is as nice guy even though he met his wife in a strip club while she was stripping. That also explains the 13 year age difference. But, he is the best thing for her. When she goes to far (and he sees it,) he pulls her right in.
