Caroline Manzo is the strong, streetsmart, and devoted wife of Albert Manzo, the mother of their 2 sons, Albie and Christopher, and their daughter Lauren.  Caroline has been married to Albert Manzo for over 25 years, who runs a successful catering business “The Brownstone” in one of New Jersey’s premier event locations.  Caroline spends the majority of her time with her family and keeps a tight reign on her children.  She also owns 2 successful businesses, Opus Properties, a real estate firm, and 4MyMom, a children’s accessory line.

Caroline Manzo is definitely a breed of character from the old school, with inherited traits and values very much admired by a more mature audience.  This woman would  have class and balls when placed in any situation.  Caroline believes in family values and would give her last breathe,  if she believed it was to save a family member from pain.  She believes in standing up and sticking together and fighting for what she believes is the color green, when everyone else might only be able to see the color blue. 

Caroline is the kind of woman that will give you her heart, when she proves you to be true.  Obviously Caroline and Dina are very close with each other, and from what we have seen so far of Caroline’s protectiveness over her sister Dina, it may have been Caroline’s idea to act as a matchmaker for Dina and Tommy to become involved.  Caroline can only see what she feels is right for the preservation of the Manzo’s name and reputation.  

Only the younger generation of today, cannot understand why if Caroline is wrong in any way, or fact about what she believes, why can’t she own up to her misjudgement or mistakes, and why is it  so important to protect a family member at all cost.  It is an unspoken sense of loyalty that comes with a strong sense of pride and generational family traditions.  It has been rumoured that Caroline is the daughter-in-law of murdered Albert “Tiny” Manzo, Sr., who was executed Mafia style and found naked in the trunk of his Lincoln Continental, and had links to the Gambino family. 

If you ask Caroline about it, she will swear on her children’s life that it is not true, so there you have it.  We don’t have to like it, or understand it, but it is what it is.  When you have a close knit family and they bond together on the strength,  hard work and efforts of their ancestors, there will be no breaking down of their invested and nurtured heritage preserved for the future of their children.
