What do we have here. A newly released song “Single Ladies“ from Beyonce’s soon to be released album “Single Ladies“. This new song also called ”Single Ladies” is to defend all the single ladies out there, or was it written for all the single ladies out there who wanted Jay-Z and could not get a wedding ring. Is this a game and is Jay-Z the grand prize? Now that Beyonce has finally bonded with Jay-Z by the sacred vows and union of holy matrimony, we would expect her to leave the past behind and place her focus elsewhere. This new video reminds us why it took 6 years for Beyonce to get a wedding ring.
With all the shaking, rump slapping and pelvic grinding in this video, which was cheaply done, compared to some of her more memorable music videos, all the single ladies out there can laugh out loud. Beyonce has forfeited an image of class for an image of trash. So the reality here is all the single classy and sophisticated ladies who respected Beyonce’s charm, talent and modesty will have the last laugh here. And for all those single ladies who do not pretend to be what they are not, and even those who used her as a role model to turn their life around, Beyonce has shown them that she is just like the rest of the lot. Now that the single ladies all see their fairytale princess falling from grace, who will have the last laugh here.

the song has nothing to do with Jay-Z. its simply a song about a girl whose ex-boyfriend sees her in a club with someone else and he’s all mad now that he see someone else wants her. its a case of I don’t want you but I dont’ want anyone else to want you either. she’s talking to the guy. and she’s invoking the empowerment of all single women who have been with guys who don’t want to commit, but then get jealous when the woman moves on.
I really like this song, I’m not sure if I agree with Jay-Z being the ultimate prize though

That’s a stretch. It’s called entertainment. Some people have bad amnesia. Did you forget some of the greats like Tina Turner? Who has done this same type of performance before beyonce. Did she forfeit her class as well? Beyonce actually made a fun song here for single ladies, and now she is making fun of them, just because she happens to have a ring. Hilarious!
